Sorry for the sluggish report ...

it is denemo's copy/paste of music I am talking about but, actually,   
I don't even know if the copy and paste work or not because I just  
can't select anything.  That is the real problem.  I do not get that  
"selected" square around the notes and measures when I drag the mouse,  
nothing happens.
