Follow-up Comment #3, task #4626 (project sourceinstall):

The srcinst library is under heavy development.
I am currently trying to remove the libexpect dependency, since libexpect
introduces another dependency (tcl).

I am stuck trying to PORTABLY (=to modern unices) allocate a pty master-slave
pair to inject input to a process, when such process expects it coming from a
terminal.

If someone is very good at portable Unix pty programming, I would need a hand
here.
