It's strange that the preview board draws ok as this uses the same code.
Now I see that things are not as simple as I have thought. The preview
works fine only _once_. If I force it to redraw (by dragging the window
outside the screen and back again), the DOS box with the error message
appears.
But -- the error message does not immediately cause total display
corruption. It seems that it just makes things degrade slowly. The first
few times the error occurs, everything works OK, but every time I make
the window redraw, another error message appears, and after a few
iterations, the display is corrupted.
It looks like some kind of (video) memory leak.
Maybe it's worth noting that I have installed DX9 SDK with debug version
of DX libraries, although I use the retail version and also I don't
think it should influence OGL.
