At backup time, did you give the file a name, but the file is nowhere to
be found on the Mac? It depends on where you stored it, but by default
it stores it in the user's home directory. Not having a Mac I am not
sure how to find this in the Finder. But when opening a terminal, the
terminal would by default show your home directory. Is the file there?
