I checked with the FSF some time back.  Yes, they're willing to handle
DotGNU donations.

Type:

  ftp dotgnu.org

then enter

  anonymous

as user name.

I think that email works well for small amounts of data, while ftp is
better for big files.

Yes, but how would we convince universities worldwide to put up this
type of poster in high-impact locations, and keep it there?
