Rhythmbox Integration

Greetings,
I have been working on integrating streamtuner functionality into the 
Rhythmbox media player (www.rhythmbox.org).  So far I have ripped out 
some parts of streamtuner to wrap around the shoutcast plugin, and it 
(mostly) works to browse and play streams from within Rhythmbox.  I'd 
like to eventually do this with the other plugins as well.  I just 
wanted to get some feedback on the idea.

Do you think it would be possible to work on unifying the plugin API to 
serve both programs?  Or even to work them into a streamtuner library?

Please let me know what you think!  If you're interested in trying it 
out I should hopefully have a public arch repository up shortly.
