you realize its rather hard to do that when the only
documentation seems to be a git log right? which basically tells me its
a web app that uses flash, so I'm even more enthused that this is a
good thing. Really, flash is just terrible, and putting it in a web
browser doesn't mean its not an app it just means that it lives in the
web browser.

I think most users already have some sort of chat client open, so using
some special thing instead of commonly used existing tools actually
means another app instead of reuse.

yes, there are sometimes good reasons to create something that seems like
something else may already have solved that problem, but a good gues is
that there isn't a good reason, and I can't find any documentation to
show what exactly this thing does much less why any of the other similar
things don't solve this problem, so why exactly should I believe it does
solve a new problem? I'm happy to read documentation showing what new
problem you are solving but that doesn't seem to exist.

well, where is this other information? For example a description of the
problem you are solving and why the n other things out there each can't
do this. Why people should deal with things like flash?

The problem I'm trying to solve here is that it is useful to talk to
other people when designing things, irc has clearly shown that it solves
this problem, I mean there are n projects that successfully use it for
this, and I've participated and watched some of them do it.
The other problem I want to solve is have a way to more interactively
help users fix problems, irc has shown it solves this problem two, from
knowledge of all the other projects out there using it for this, and
from getting help from project irc channels.

So what other problem would a project want to solve? and why can't
anything else solve it?
