list - or something related - they will help you with OpenOffice.org
specific issues.

For time being, you can confine your worries to adding malayalam 
support to OpenOffice.org (note the .org) coz any malayali with some 
education knows some english, and anybody with enough knowledge to use 
a computer also knows too will know english.

*localising* is a vast effort; and even according to the guys at 
Openoffice.org (the website) three people will take at least three 
months to translate the gui and messages - the glossary - into any 
given language.
