Hi Chris

Thanks for your input that is interesting and makes me think that very  
frequent backups could be too much of a good thing, though 8MB is not  
a lot and in your case the difference in disk space over a year  
compared with daily backups would come to c.4GB.

Regarding my other question about locked in-use files, my researches  
so far suggest that
