[rdiff-backup-users] 0.12.4 compatible with 0.6.0?

I know theres a huge difference in those version numbers, but is it possible
for a 0.12.4 host to backup a 0.6.0 client? A couple of my production boxes
are running Debian stable, and the latest rdiff-backup version is 0.6.0. I'd
like to keep them on stable, but I need to start taking backups of them.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
