Good morning,

my impression is that mainly the translators have problems with the missing
translation hints. I reopened: https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?58964

Before sending an update to the translation project I think we should merge the
already updated translations. I noticed that in the dutch translation Jaap 
tried some
workarounds but I think that is wrong. Maybe we need to check the other updates
also on these 3/4 places.

Going for a 1.4.1 release I suggest to create a pspp-1.4 maintenance branch. I 
agree
with the picks from John.

Those two are not needed there. They address the problem that commits in gitk 
for
lexer.at are shown as binary diffs, i.e. not at all. I hoped that savannah would
also honor this but it does not.
