Thanks for your response! To your knowledge, are there any modules in .14 that 
do currently support the 3-level prefs (so I can dig around and figure out 
how it's all handled)? I'm on a moderately tight deadline to implement such 
functionality.  Actually, what I need to do is to add a pref to the projects 
module (I've done this already) and force the prefs on that option.  I'm also 
looking at going ahead and pulling .16 code from CVS (bugs and all) as a 
solution but am running into difficulties getting my system to play nice with 
XML/xslt.so.  Thanks in advance for any additional tips you may have.
