The above is the only message I receive when I connect through telnet.

I know that my replies contain the full headers.  I have turned them
in my client in order to identify spam and I usually forget to remove them when I do replies to someone I actually know. I also don't really care if anyone on this list knows my real-email address. =)

you can telnet to port 143 of the mail server and most will tell you what it is.

btw, you does your reply include all the headers?
