It says to set this as the same as 'server root' 'unless you know what  
you are doing'...

(I do get an error when I enter localhost here, see below, but I don't  
understand what you mean here. Do I enter in the name of the DB,  
'phpgroupware', and the root password for mySQL? If so, separated by  
what? I'm not following you quite.)

Ok, just chose a password...

I accepted all the defaults but when I turned the page I get:
