[Phpgroupware-users] email esmtp

Hi,

I've installed the latest phpgroupware in a SME server 5.0 (RH 7 + qmail +
obtuse smtpd).
my problem is email module: I can read from my imap folder all messages. If
I want to send a new message I've this error:
Your message could not be sent!
The mail server returned:

    [msg] => Syntax Error, command unrecognized

I think that email module use esmtp and my obtuse smtpd can't support esmtp.
there is a chance to don't use esmtp?
