Hi guys!

There was a perfect weather today for a proper flight test of the new KroozSD Big Rotorcraft Edition.

Hi, Heinrich!
Thanks for your appreciation!
I'll post some videos of the flight performance with the new sensors soon. It looks to be nice weather now for a real stress flight. Of course it would be great to have such sensors in all autopilots, but it not always so easy without having an external IMU unit.
Best Regards,
Sergey

Hi Sergey,
thank you for testing the MXR9500.
Your are the first that prove it for paparazzi.
Mikrokopter did it before as i wrote.
I think it is a good idea to add this sensor to all all paparazzi autopilots.
Best Regards,
Heinrich

Hi guys!

I'm glad to let you know, that there is a new version of KroozSD available
- the KroozSD Big Rotorcraft edition!
http://paparazzi.enac.fr/wiki/KroozSD#New_KroozSD_Version_Available.21
It's equipped with MXR9500 accelerometer and extra SWD connector.
First rotorcraft tests showed a much higher vibration immunity and thus
much more stable flight, especially regarding altitude, comparing to
default MPU6050 accelerometer.
Of course, it's going to be usefull on fixedwings as well.
Hope you'll like it!

Best Regards,
Sergey
