Follow-up Comment #22, bug #58323 (project octave): The first case was entering the commands at the command prompt (as opposed to "F9'ing"). Both lines *do* show in the command history for me in this case. If they don't show in the command history when they are "F9'ed", this would be another reason for changing something in the current "F9'ing" code.
