Follow-up Comment #12, bug #58323 (project octave): This might be a compromise: Adding all lines to the history after executing the block as a whole or in case of an error the lines up to a possible error. Displaying the lines is more complicated, not because of a possible prompt but due to the requirement that the command should be displayed when the command is executed. Otherwise, "inputs" and "outputs" were mixed in the console window.
