[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #57617] Windows specific (small) bugs in 5.1.9

Follow-up Comment #7, bug #57617 (project octave):

Can I reliably reproduce this appstore warning?

* I have tested this on two other Win10 machines: And NO, I do never see this
"App store notification".

* On my Win10 laptop (as used in comment #0): Yes, I get this message every
single time when I start the Octave installer. I will attach a screenshot of
it.

So this might be some "weired" configuration of my laptop where I observed
this first.

Searching the internet for information on this, I found:
https://winaero.com/blog/disable-look-for-an-app-in-the-store-in-windows-10-and-windows-8/

This explains that "Every time you open a file which does not have an
application registered to open it, Windows 10 and Windows 8 offer you to open
the Windows Store and look for an app there." This seems a funny explanation
for opening an exe file (as the Octave installer file). And maybe it has a
different reason in my case.

I would be fine with CLOSEing this bug report fully. If someone misconfigures
his Windows installation (has I might have done) so it does not find an "App"
to execute exe-files, then that's his own trouble.
