Well, I'd guess it would mean they dual licensed the client, as I
touched on at the end of my previous message. I haven't asked if they
have had others contribute GPL'd code though, I'm sure they have had
lawyers look into such things... I hope. ;) Although I have seen an
interview or two where they mentioned releasing client source in the
future (not that that answers your current question).

Of course they aren't under any obligation to release server source, as
they aren't distributing server binaries. ;)
