[Mldonkey-users] doesn't add up

I've recently started using mldonkey-2.5.21, and I'm wondering why the
none of the upload statistics seem to add up.

Here's a detailed description of what I think should happen, and what
is actually happening. I'm sharing two directories:
> address@hidden mldonkey_command shares
> ...
> Shared directories:
> 0 ./incoming
> 0 /largefiles/jbaker/shared-albums
>

And each contains a certain number of files:
> address@hidden find ~mldonkey/incoming -type f | wc
> 20 123 1443
> address@hidden find /largefiles/jbaker/shared-albums -type f | wc
> 136 321 9038

I'm also downloading some files:
> address@hidden mldonkey_command vd | egrep '\[D' | wc
> 23 387 2848

So, shoudn't the total number of sources I know about be
20 + 136 + 23 = 179?
> address@hidden mldonkey_command sources | grep ^Manager | wc
> 177 1310 10577

And, shouldn't the number of shared files be >= 20+136?

(mlnet has been up for almost 24 hours, and the # of shared files
actually went down from 157.)

The thing I'm most confused by, though, is upstats:
> address@hidden mldonkey_command upstats | wc
> 38 298 2507

It will not give me an entry for each shared file mentioned in
bw_stats, but it will give me some entries that show 0 requests and 0
bytes uploaded. Stranger still, I saw an uploader for one of the
files listed as having 0 requests.
