Someone know if it exists a Java version of mldonkey?
If no, I propose my knowledge to translate the mldonkey core into Java. Could someone tell me some advice about that? Is it possible to translate it into Java ? (I think yes if I use JNI for some Protocol like Fastrack but I tell me if that's possible or pertinent because there a lot of C++ codes in the sources)

it's been asked for several times, so just go ahead, i beleive mldonkey is fairly modular in it's structure so you should be able to do some lighter experiments to begin with. on the other hand you will at least learn to read ocaml, wich shouldn't be half as bad as learning to write it, wich is supposed to be real easy ;). then you will learn to deal with us users, and we are a particularly hungry bunch...
