[Mldonkey-users] configure fails with latest CVS on FreeBSD

Hi,
CVS version used to build without problems on my FreeBSD machines (last 
tried about end of January).
Now while trying to build the latest cvs I get (on both machines):

I checked out fresh, did no patches - just ./configure. With or withou 
options doesn't matter - same result. Any hints on what is going wrong here 
?
Any known FreeBSD related problems ? of course I tried just a gmake depend 
anyhow but that gave me:
Makefile:14: *** missing separator.  Stop.
