the problem is that a fake file is an actual file with a fake name. you are downloading a file named A which is actually file B . if you tell other clients it's a fake, what will happend to a client which is downloading file B with name B ? i dont think it would be wise to propagate a 'trusted name', it would consume too much bandwidth. you should either preview the file as soon as you have downloaded some chunks (mplayer do it fine for avi's), or check the names other clients have for it (with latest gui or with web interface).Hi all. I am wondering about that nasty issue about fake files... Is there a way to feed mldonkey with a list of MD4 and be alerted when one of those is added to the download list ?
