No, only a part of that patch was accepted by upstream. (see below)

I restored and fixed the glib patches.

No, the GTK_DOC_CHECK fix is a separate patch.

That patch fixes exactly the Gettext issues, i.e.

    * ./configure ERROR -> WARN
    * avoid LC_MESSAGES
    * provide dummy gettext() when libintl is disabled

No, all 3 parts are reported, but only the LC_MESSAGES
part was accepted yet.

Please have a look at the URL included in the patch:

It's only the GTK_DOC_CHECK stuff which is not reported,
because it isn't a clean solution.
