I'm all for Lynx being proper "out of the box", but unfortunately there
are some things it should do "in the real world" to actually work...
being able to save the wrong User Agent is one of them, as my own
experience has found out, I can use online banking just fine with Lynx if
I tell it to purport to be Netscape, with SSL installed.

Lynx also complains about "bad html" all of the time, but still seems to
work on those pages.. Should I give examples of URLs that do this to
this group? It suggests to turn on trace mode, but I am under the
impression it's just going to start spitting raw HTML at me and expect
me to figure out what's wrong. Unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable about
HTML enough to be effectively "assembly language debugging" it. (yeah I
know that's a major overstatement..)
