Yes, that's kind of what I think too. I heard that Windows 8 prefers ipv6 to
ipv4, so I disabled ipv6, but that didn't change anything. I'll take a look at
the firewall and report back after fiddling with it a little.
However, a couple things are a little strange. First, charmander (my friend on
Windows 8) has reported that he is able to communicate with sip:address@hidden
using linphone with no problems. It is only when he communicates with me (also
on linphone) that things stop working. Also, charmander has tried using Yate
(another SIP/VOIP application) on Windows 8, and that works just fine as well.

I agree with this diagnosis. It should be noted while the RTP packets aren't
reaching their destination, all SIP packets are delivered just fine.

I will report back once I've tried this.

I don't think the NAT has been touched from when it was working, so this
shouldn't be it.
