Possibly Carl thought that this example of tweak limitation was too complex  
for a user manual and picked a simpler example without checking that it  
applied, mistaking the reason of the problem.

It would be even nicer if one could manipulate the control points of all  
ties.  I think I tried figuring this out once and gave up since it was not  
simple enough for me to get a hang of in a short time.
