Spamcop blocked all mails, even gmail

Spamcop suffered from a bug (Source: https://www.techradar.com/news/cisco-security-tool-blocks-thousands-of-emails-as-spam-following-domain-blunder or https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/spamcop-anti-spam-service-suffers-an-outage-after-its-domain-expired/) eg

Eg (209.85.166.182 is from gmail)

https://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/351.html
<https://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/351.html>

host 182.166.85.209.bl.spamcop.net

182.166.85.209.bl.spamcop.net has address 91.195.240.87

But alexandre is not in SFL, so for debian, debian tracker should be used.

Just in case this is my answer for the previous mail:

Normally updating clients automatically do the migration, but a migration so big (should be like a 2 years migration if it's still ring is not really supported)

But the format for account didn't change, In ~/.local/share/ring you should see some export.gz for each of your old accounts.

You can import it in recent versions via "Import from backup" in the account creation's menu. Just import the export.gz via the File chooser and set the password if there is one.

Sébastien

It would be useful to have a backport on the latest Debian 10

I created a backport myself, including a fix for the issue here on gcc 8.3:
https://github.com/Stiffstream/restinio/issues/147

I tried to contact Alexandre about the fix and my email was blocked:

<alexandre.viau@savoirfairelinux.com>: host
     mail.savoirfairelinux.com[208.88.110.44] said: 554 5.7.1 Service
unavailable; Client host [(mail IP)] blocked using bl.spamcop.net (in
     reply to RCPT TO command)

I tried putting the (mail IP) in spamcop and it says the IP is not blocked

It looks like the Debian and FSFE vendettas are blocking mail to
savoirfairelinux.com

This is completely against the principles of the Jami project.

I created a fix for the compile errors but I can't share it because
somebody has a vendetta.

Daniel
