I will check the source of the Python interface tomorrow to see how difficult it would be to backport these changes to Python 2.5. @foo.setter is a nice touch that I really liked in Python 2.6; maybe there is an easy workaround to keep these changes while still supporting Python 2.5.I've managed to find a workaround that enables me to use the @foo.setter syntax in Python 2.5. Compatibility with Python 2.5 is now restored in rev 2248 in trunk (and let's hope I don't break it again ;))
