Loading OctaveForge packages by default is one of the next features I plan to
implement in the application. I'm thinking about loading "general" and
"miscellaneous" by default for all users. Would it a good idea to load
more, or all, OctaveForge packages by default?
FWIW, I was able to upload a *.tar.gz package file to my working directory
using the normal upload techniques (after signing in), and then load and
install it using pkg install and pkg load. Adding support for a more
streamlined way of installing packages is a good idea. I added it to the
UserVoice page (the one that opens when you click "Feedback and Support").
