Hi all
I downloaded from OCTAVEFORGE the package "gnuplot-1.0.x"
because I need to be able to zoom into my plots.
( with the basic plot command I cannot do that -octave 3.2.4 ).
I setup the package with the usual
pkg install gnuplot.tar.gz
But commands like g_ez is not available.
read the help for the 'pkg' command,
after installing a package you have to load it for its functions to be
available.
to change this behaviour you can you use the command 'pkg rebuild -
auto <package name>'
which is also documented in the help for 'pkg'
If I go in the folder where the package is installed g_ez is
recognized
and it works pretty well..so my guess is that octave is not able to
include this package
properly or refer to its folder.
Do you know what could be a starting point to solve this issue?
Any commands or config file or also notes relted these kind of
settings?
Thanks in advance
