shelving filter

hi everyone ..
I do need your help .
I must implement a shelving audio filter using Octave .

Does anybody know how to go about it ?

Is there any function like fir1 which enables the creation of a shelving
filter?

Surfing the net , I chanced to get a few lines of code for a Matlab script.
Unfortunately it doesn't work with Octave.
The problem concerns a function called shelving .

Is there anything similar to that for Octave users?

Can anyone tell me where I can get a complete Octave function list?
(actually audio functions)
