If you want to have a go at fix this package then please look in the
octave-forge cvs and at the page

Note that the way I'd thought to attack graceplot, was to make the
toggle_grace_use function redundant and use the fact that the
"pkg('load','graceplot')" command will have the effect of adding the
graceplot commands to the path ahead of the other plotting commands.
Note the octave plotting functions themselves are undergoing major work
and aren't even stable at the moment, and so there are probably lots of
things that might be done with the graceplot plotting commands to make
them more compatible with however plotting is eventually implemented in
Octave 3.0.
