Got it! Thanks to all for the suggestions and help, it worked! Now, on to other things:

When I try plotting, I see the gnuplot execution stuff and it is kind of annoying. Is there any way to fix that? If octave-forge fixes it I'm in the middle of installing it right now, so I'll just be patient.
