FW: A bug related to Octave installation on a P4 machine...

[Sundeep, Raj (IE10)]

Hi,
        I tried installing 2.1.50 version downloaded from source forge(as a
windows installer), but it failed in the same fashion....
I guess all this is due to having cygwin installed already on my
comp...anyidea how this could be dealt with???
Do let me know...

Try installing a later version of Octave, if that helps.
I have Octave 2.1.49 on a Win XP machine, and it works
