After all patches that John sent to me, I have compiled
octave-2.1.65 with gcc4/gfortran:
address@hidden octave]$ gcc4 -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: i386-redhat-linux
Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man
--infodir=/usr/share/info --enable-shared --enable-threads=posix
--enable-checking=release --with-system-zlib --enable-__cxa_atexit
--disable-libunwind-exceptions --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/c++/3.4.3
--enable-languages=c,c++,java,f95 --enable-java-awt=gtk --host=i386-redhat-linux
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.0.0 20050217 (Red Hat 4.0.0-0.26)
I used external lapack and fftw3 libraries (built with gcc 3.4.3)
It passed "make check" and runs all my benchmarks OK.
Sincerely,
Dmitri.
