I might just be confused, but why does the boxcar filter simply return a
vector of ones? Shouldn't it be a vector (or matrix) of ones, divided
by the number of elements in that vector?
Granted, it's no problem to simply write my own boxcar filter, but this
just struck me as some odd behavior.
