Hello

PostgreSQL can be interfaced to GLPK via ODBC. There are a lot of other data bases in the market like DB2, GNU SQL ,MS Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle ... It is impossible to provide a native interface for all of them in GLPK. Putting in a native MySQL interface has not really been a necessity.

Should the current GLPK-ODBC interface prove to be a bottleneck for serious applications I see room to rework it for speed up. My current impression is that reading and writing problem data takes a negligible time compared to solution time.

Best regards

Xypron

Hello everybody.

I see there are examples for connecting to ODBC and MySQL data sources.

Is there any demand for doing with with PostgreSQL?

There is.
