My lapsus: there are not less than 7 digits after the decimal
separator. gpsd: 3.25.1~dev (revision release-3.25-571-gc12daabed)
Uh, still lost me. Is that good or bad? And it depends a lot on
your configuration.
Good or bad, depends on where the digits come from and their significance.
What configuration? I am not aware of any.

My experiments where on a Raspberry Pi Zero running Raspbian
GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) with gpsd: 3.22. I also tested a Raspberry
Pi 4 B using gpsd: 3.22 with the same poor results. On my PC
running Ubuntu 22.4 gpsd: 3.22 worked flawlessly even indoors.
3.22 is old and the binaries not from us.

I installed gpsd: 3.25 on the Raspberry Pi Zero (some software
elements weren't installed). Now it works ok and fixes fixes every
second
Good. Can you try git head?
What is git head? I did the installation from git.

but now upping the minute with 6 fractional decimal digits.
Uh, lost me. Can you explain?

Gary, you have an interesting way of formatting your mail into coloured sections. How do you accomplish that?
