Hi Chris, When I was testing the gpsd on the pi I also had first tested
using the daemon in Ubuntu(linux) using the same hardware plugged
into usb. I could then access it through terminal and other
graphical windows . Finally I could access the daemon thru any C++
programs I was writing ( quite a few others use python as well I
hear ). You could use windows7/8/10 to test out using the daemon
as well I guess. Anyhow I did have success using QT as the
development environment. Not sure how get the proper libs in order
to access gpsd in Eclipse or Visual Studio IDEs. On 2020-01-26 4:53 a.m., Christopher
