IMO this is the best you can do without hacking up a change in your own personal copy of gpsd. Wrapping the app launch itself with a batch file isn't going to help, since any ?WATCH command will not be delivered on the connection that Chart Navigator uses to talk to gpsd, and thus will have no effect on that connection. As I understand it.
