And how are you gonna ask google when in a car near Silver Lake, OR?
No cell, no internet, hardly any POTS in that area.  Worse yet google
now limits the lookup rate to their DB, so a lot of exiting Google maps
users all of a sudden got broken earlier this year.

Obviously you don't. You apply this information later when you're analysing your route.

You can't upload the tagged image to the internet when you have no mobile signal and no internet, either.
