Mike, how about calling the test release 0.2.4?

For the gnome-2 branch, I have created a new branch 

gnome-2-v0_2

which can serve as the continuing bug fix branch for
0.2.3, and gnome-2-develop can stay as the branch for
new development and the new infrastructure :-)
