Thanks Scott for your work. Good job. For the questions you ask, from my point 
of view it would be better to shut down the savannah pages and move to the
official gcc pages. The lib probably should be part of the branch and not have 
a separate repository. 

Logo: old logo by Stephen is attached. It could be a starting point for your 
designers.
