Hey *,

I like to add an idea to the agenda.

Actually this is already somehow implicit part of the agenda, but I would like to place emphasis on us eating our own dog food. What I like to say is, we should try  to use GNUnet on a regular basis. I guess I am not the only one focusing on some aspect of GNUnet and for example never tried to use conversation or VPN. We should try to exchange knowledge about what one can already do with GNUnet, and what are the pitfalls if you do so. I think this fits good into the agenda for Sunday.

I am very excited to be at decentrale with you again!

Dear all,

As you may know, we'll have the GNUnet Hacker meeting at decentrale.ch
near St. Imier June 22nd to 29th. We currently have 14-20 registrations
depending on whether you count +1s. That said, there is still space,
especially in the 2nd half of the week as some people plan to leave
early. So if you do plan to come and did not yet inform me, please
simply let me know.

Anyway, I'm writing to let everyone know about the agenda. Naturally,
this is not set in stone, but as you know I'll try to haunt those that
are present to make progress on those tasks (or ask them to bake pizzas).

For Sunday, I'm calling on (most) participants to make a 30 minute
presentation to tell us the status on some subsystem, identifying major
roadblocks and next steps. This will then in some cases feed into the
main focus areas (and sub-topics for sub-groups) we will focus on
subsequently.

Friday:
* Arrival

Saturday:
* Micro-bug-squashing party:
  - Mantis
  - Static analysis
  - compiler warnings

Sunday:
* Minefield surveys: Update on project status, roadblocks, next steps
  - TNG (Grothoff)
  - Reclaim:ID (Schanzen)
  - SecuShare (xrs/t3sserakt)
  - Taler (Florian)
  - PEP (Hernani)
  - Documentation (Sva)
  - Fog-of-Trust (Jeff)
  - CI (dvn)
  - Funding (Nana)
  (each 30 minutes max)

Monday:
* Focus: TNG
  - code review communicators
  - communicator testing
  - design discussion(s)

Tuesday:
* Focus: GNS
  - Ascension (rexxnor, presentation @ 11am)
  - GNS-Go project (Bernd, Schanzen)
  - GNUnet packaging for distros (all)

Wednesday:
* Focus: Documentation
  - Web site
  - Handbook
  - Onboarding / outreach activities

Thursday:
* Focus: CI
  - CI setup
  - release process

Friday:
* Focus: Taler

I look forward to seeing you there!

Best,

Christian
