Follow-up Comment #32, task #15567 (project gnuastro):

Use Valgrind <https://valgrind.org/> ;-)! Its your best friend when dealing
with segmentation faults :-)!

Are you using the standard `./developer-build -d' to build Gnuastro and
`./tests/during-dev.sh' to execute the test command? If so, you can just add
`valgrind' at the start of the third-last line that executes the built
utility.
