[task #13658] Work on concave polygons too

Also, I think this is the time around which I should start working on my
proposal for GSoC. I think this task and task #14639 and bug #50120 are
interconnected and solving this will very much solve the others too and hence
should be included for the task for summers.

Also, task #13565 seems interesting of which further discussion will be done
on its respective page. This also seems to have a lot of functionalities to be
implemented in and seems to be a good task. 

Can you suggest some other programs to be implemented for summers and any
suggestions for my proposal?
