Follow-up Comment #6, task #13991 (project gnuastro):

It turned out that this was actually an error in how git-version-get is called
in Gnuastro: "--prefix" option requires an argument, i.e. the prefix of git
tag.  My branch "fix-git-ver-gen" fixes this bug, following your naming
convention for tags (just the release number, no prefix)
