  I'd use kde4 under lenny, but my kde3 build worked just fine. Unlike
Fedora, where you can have both kde3 and kde4 installed at the same
time, for Debian installing kdelibs4 for kde3, removes kdelibs5 for
kde4. So you can only build for one or the other.

  I changed the dependencies to read "libltdl3-dev | libltdl7-dev". I've
had no problems with this in any of my builds, and I also finally got a
sid chroot working for Gnash builds using pbuilder. Gnash built just
fine there too. (with kde4) I build on lenny daily, so it's hard to
think of it as a "backport". :-)
